Okay we are done with Salsa!!

Today we worked hard as a family together! Once a year we try and make homemade Salsa! It tastes so much better than store bought and it is nice to have on our selves in the storage room.

We used 50 pounds of Roma Tomatoes, 40 Peppers, 10 Jalapeno peppers and 20 pounds of onions. And of course sugar, vinegar and salt. We worked for around 8 hours because it takes a LONG time to cook it down and process the jars.

What did we get out of our HARD labor.......

40 quarts of wonderful home made Salsa. Bring on the corn chips and maybe some cheese ;o)
