Saturdays at the Holbrook home!

I will have to make a statement you really should be a dog in our home. Here are a few pictures so you can see why ;o)

This is what we found when Lincoln and I can home from the Coop on a Saturday morning! Look at them both they are for sure not working too hard or have gotten up early :o)

Look at Lulu here. She is piled up like the on a body pillow and wrapped up in her very favorite blanket. It is the one Mika got at her graduation from High School and Lulu LOVES it. Can you see Mika has put Birdie right in there with Lulu :o)

Can you find her-Lulu here? She is warm and toasty with Mille :o)

Again see Lulu tugged in on top of a pillow and Lincoln working. Like I said from these pictures you can easy see, that you should be a dog in our home :o)

Millika at her 2nd Indoor Track meet at Weber State University!

Millika went to her 2nd Indoor Track meet at Weber State University in Ogden. This meet is harder because the track is very short and that way there are a lot of turns which makes it a little harder.

Today Millika was going to run in the 800 meter's race. She is a distance runner so these indoor meets are harder for her. But she did good.

There were 47 girls running and she took 16th place. She ran the 800 Meter in  2 min 39 Sec. and that is again a PR for her. She is starting to like track but her heart will always be with Cross Country, and my heart is there too :o) And she took 2nd place in her heat, way to go Mille.

The girl in the black on the inside by Mille took 1st in the heat and Mille took 2nd

Hugs from her good friend Haily after the race ;o)

Millika's FIRST ever indoor Track meet at BYU

Millika went to her first ever indoor track meet at BYU - Smith Field-house in Provo. She was going to run the mile (1,6 KM) and this was a distance she is not always the best at. Her best is about 3 miles/5 KM.

There were 86 girls running and she was really nervous for this first meet. She has been so use to being the fastest and now here was a new challenge.

Well she did pretty good. She ran the mile in 5min 53 sec and that was a PR (personal record) for her. She came in as the 2nd fastest from Woods Cross High School and as number 28 out of the 86 girls that ran. Not too bad for her first race at the High school level in the mile distance.

This is totally what she looks like when she comes in close to the finish line in a sprint. It is so fun to see her run.

Christmas 2011

Better late than never. Here are finally a few pictures from our wonderful Christmas season. We had one of the BEST times ever as a family and enjoyed every minute together! Of course we missed Mormor and Morfar but that is life!

Grandma have a great time. We all enjoy the time so much!

Grandpa opening up one of his gifts. See the pretty candles :o)

McKay and Millika got the came they wanted for months. I guess they like it :o)

American tradition Christmas socks! The sock was just not big enough :o)

Lulu was helping McKay open up his sock!

Mille opening her sock, maybe she got a thimble in the mass of gift!

Mika's harvest for Christmas 2011. She got a few things:o)

McKay's harvest for Christmas 2011. He did get a few clothes and he is okay with that now!

Millika's harvest for Christmas 2011. See the 2 pineapples. Yes, she does love to watch Psych ;o)

We were thinking about mailing Lulu over to Morfar. But we would miss her too much :o)

We had, like I said before, one of the very BEST Christmases in years. We played, relaxed and just enjoyed being together as a family!
