Golden Spike and Bird Refuge June 5th, 2011

Today we went out to see the Bird Refuge north of Willow Bay in Northern Utah. We had also been here before but this year there is so much more water in the rivers and lakes that we had to go there again.

 Looking at the birds and water was great!

Look at this river it was overflowing and it is not over yet. More water is to come from the melting snow in the mountains!

We also went out to see the Golden Spike. It is where the railroad met from the East and West in Utah in 1869.

Look at McKay and Millika walking on the tracks! They were having fun!
