Today we went out to see Antelope Island. We have seen it before with Mormor and Morfar. Last time we saw many animals so we were a little worried that this time would not be as fruitful. But we did not have to worry :o)
This is the view we saw on the way out to the Island! It was beautiful and tons of more water in the Great Salt Lake! Almost looks like a postcard.
We saw this little guy on the way to the farm house. We think it was a coyote and he stood ready for a picture.
This is the way Salt Lake City looked from the Island. It almost looks like Salt Lake is right on the beach.
Close to the farm house we saw around 200 Buffalo it was a fun sight! And guess what... We met a Danish couple from Taasinge. They were traveling around America for 3 month and they loved Utah.
We then drove to the other side of the Island and there we saw Antelope with their babies :o)
The buffalo was getting a bit close here and he did not want to cross the road!
We also got a chance to get really close. Here is Morfar outside the car looking at the Buffalo.
He really was BIG! We were glad he was friendly and we were in the car :o)
