Cross debaters excel in the statewide Model United Nations program, an
education by simulation event in which students research and prepare to
represent different countries’ views in debates on international issues. This year Wildcats represented India, South Korea and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Approximately 35 schools and 850 students participated.
Student
participants are: Austin Beck, Sarah Beynon, Jack Brimhall, Kaestle
Charlesworth, Colin Cole, Josh Figueroa, Jade Hall, McKay Hall, Allison
Harden, McKay Holbrook, Millika Holbrook, Ethan Johnson, Wirtjo Leonard,
Erick Luna, Daisy Mele, Anne Moscon, George Muhlestein, Romney Oaks,
Sally Olea, Hans Pande, Nicole Pemberton, Ben Powell, Chelsea Sather,
Sasha Sloan, Tuscan Thompson, London Weiler, and Elliott Wood.
And they won for the 17th year in a row. McKay has been on the team the last 3 years and Millika this year!! Millika and McKay were partners and they took FIRST place together :o) Lots of fun and a great way to end the debate year!!
