Mckay spends a day on Capital Hill and the Utah Senate

McKay and Justin got to spend a day at Capital Hill with the Utah Senate, The Governor Herbert and the Lieutenant Governor of Utah.

A great visit to the Utah State Capital and meeting some very important and interesting people.  Way to go McKay, you are totally AWESOME!!! We are sure you will make it FAR in life :o)

Mika turns 19 years old.

Happy Birthday to Mika. She turned 19 years old today and now she only has one more year as a teenager :o) She got some pretty neat gifts from the family and had a wonderful day. We for sure LOVE our Miks!!!

Bob Firman Invitational in Eagle Idaho

Millika and the Woods Cross Cross Country Team went to Eagle in Idaho for one of the biggest meet in the West. There were about 2500+ Athletes from more than 90 High Schools.


The heat Millika was going to run in was called Varsity Division 1 and that is the 2nd hardest heat for the girls. There were 249 athletes in her heat and a lot of them are great runners.

Millika ran in the North Salt Lake city 15th Annual 5K run

Millika had the chance again this year to run a fun 5 KM race for the City on North Salt Lake. There were 200+ runners and she ran the 5 kilometers (3.2 miles) in 21 min 26 sec minutes and she was number 23 in the overall results. She took first in her age group 11-14 and she came in as the 1ST "woman" overall out of ALL the ladies that ran.

Last year she took 4th place of the women and 41th place overall. She ran in 22 min 54 sec so she did a LOT better this year. She is still not back in shape from having her tonsils out but she says she can already feel she can breath better and that will help her a lot in her running.

Millika and Taylor are Team Mates from Woods Cross High School and they have been running together for 1 year now for the team!
