Lulu got a cute hair cut!!

i just had to share this with you all. Lulu got another hair cute and today Mika choose for her to have a bow in her hair instead of a hankie! So here is a little photo of our baby :o)

Look how CUTE she is!! And it is even a Christmas bow. VERY festive! How long did it stay in? Oh.... 5 minutes after we came home I found it on the floor! I always told Mika  that Lulu is a tomboy :o)

Fourth Sunday in Advent!

Alright today was the fourth Sunday in advent and again Mormor and Morfar had found some treasures!
Here are a few pictures but they are not too good today!

Millika got a little box to hang on the wall with fun small things that are about her! She loved it!

McKay got a Chess set cut of of stone/marble and he totally loved it!!

Another great Sunday with fun gifts! How does Mormor do it while Morfar is waiting patiently for her to find all these treasures!  

Third Sunday in Advent

The kids got some great things AGAIN today for the third Sunday in Advent! Here are a few pictures!

Mika got these really neat slipper socks that Millika is TOTALLY jealous off and 2 bells for her collection!!

McKay got an AWESOME orange watch for HIS collection. He LOVES watches just like Morfar!!

Millika got 2 new thimbles for her collection. She has over 150 I think now!!

And Lulu what did she get? She got to snuggle Birdie for as LONG as she wanted ;o)

Wonderful third Sunday in advent. Mormor and Morfar for sure know how to spoil us as always!

Mckay and Baylee at Christmas/Winter Dance!

A few weeks ago McKay was asked by his good friend Baylee to the Christmas/Winter Dance at WXHS. McKay had NEVER gone to a dance before so he was a little nervous because he says he can not dance. Well I think Baylee will not care as long as she has him on her arm :o)

Baylee was not sure how to put on the flower. It goes on with a little pin and it is a lot harder than it looks :o)

 McKay had an easier job he just had to give her the flower as a bracelet on. No pins for him.

McKay had a fun time with his group of people. They were 7 couples that went out to eat together and then on to the dance. Before the dance during the day they had a game "party" playing on the Wii and so forth. After the dance they went to one of the home and saw the movie Elf. McKay was home at his curfew which is midnight and he had had a WONDERFUL night and he even enjoyed the dancing part. He held ALL the door for Baylee and treated her like a true gentleman. Thanks McKay for being such a good and wonderful son :o)

Second Sunday in Advent 2011

Today was Second Sunday in Advent and the kids got great gifts again today!! Here are a few pictures!

Millika got a cute night gown and a thimble with a Cairn Terrier on top of it. Look at Lulu she had to be in the picture and was so cute with Mille :o)

Mika got a Beautiful bell for her collection and a wonderful scarf.

McKay got two great bookends in VERY heavy solid stone.

They all loved their gifts and what fun it is to see them enjoy the spoils from Mormor and Morfar!

McKay with WXHS Debate Team at Skyline High School tournament

Today McKay was a BIG debate tournament at Skyline High School in Salt Lake City. The team was ready to go out their and do their best. Many different categories were there and McKay was going to change and compete in Public Forum (PF) instead of Congress this time. His partner was Tuscan and it was their first time debating together and first time in this category.

In the House/group McKay was in there were 52 pairs competing. It was an open Varsity Group which is the highest level of debaters! Some of the pairs had debated together for 3 solid year in this category.

McKay and Tuscan took 2nd place by loosing with only 1 speaker point to 1st place. They had NEVER debated together before and like I said earlier the other debates had years of working together. Great job McKay and Tuscan. Keep it going boys and you might make it ALL the way to State :o)

WXHS Cross Country Team at Foot Locker Race in Walnut in California

Millika was gone for 4 days this week to California with most of the WXHS Cross Country Team. They went down there to compete in the National West Region Foot Locker Race in Walnut, California. 10+ States were represented in the races and many, many runners at very different ages and levels were there!

Millika was put in the Freshman/Sophomore race (9th and 10th graders) and there were 264 girls in it. The course was VERY hard with many hills and is was 3.1 miles (5 KM). Millika was so ready for the race and was looking forward to a new challenge. Millika ran the course in 21 min 14 sec not her personal best but still not too bad compared to how hard the course was.

This is Millika and 3 friends the night before the race. Very relaxed and just having fun!!

And here Millika is. She placed 11th out of the Freshman Girls and 23rd over all in her race of 264 girls. She came in FIRST from all the girls at WXHS and all in all she had a great race day.

And the fun after. Disneyland with all the WXHS runners and coaches. A great ending on a super good day!

I would have LOVED to have been there to see Mille race but not this time!! We love you Peeps. You are fantastic!
